Vol. 521 No. 4

Written Answers. - Health Board Allowances.

Dan Neville

Question:

139 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children when arrears of domiciliary care allowance will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick for the period 10 July 1998 to 31 October 1998 in view of the fact that the Mid-Western Health Board accepts that the cheque was fraudulently cashed. [17065/00]

The payment of domiciliary care allowance in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer, Mid-Western Health Board with a request that he examine the query and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
