307 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will provide funding to St. Joseph's school for visually impaired boys, Drumcondra, Dublin 9, for a kiln; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17288/00]

My Department has received an application from the school referred to by the Deputy for the provision of a kiln.

This application is currently under consideration and my officials will be in contact shortly with the school authorities in this regard.
