504 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science the total numbers in primary, secondary, post-leaving certificate, university, institute of technology and other third level education institutions in each of the past five years; and the average cost per person of providing education at each of these levels. The information requested by the Deputy is set out in the table below.

It gives the total number of full-time students in primary, secondary, post-leaving certificate, university, institute of technology and other third level institutions aided by the Department of Education and Science for 1994-95 to 1998-99.
