Vol. 522 No. 3

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Question:

154 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 will be given an earlier physiotherapy appointment than 24 August 2000, due to severe pain; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18677/00]

The responsibility for the provision of hospital services in the Dublin area now rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate this matter and to reply directly to the Deputy.
