208 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the action, if any, she has taken in relation to the Ring old parish action plan; the proposals she has in this regard; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [18591/00]
My Department was not consulted with regard to the formulation of the action plan. However, I understand from Údarás na Gaeltachta that it took an active role in the consultation process associated with the preparation of the action plan; and that it made a submission to the county council and to the consultants acting on behalf of the council with regard to assisting in the formulation of the plan.
