34 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Health and Children when he expects to receive the report of the All-Party Committee on the Constitution on the Green Paper on Abortion; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17216/00]
I understand that the Oireachtas All-Party Committee on the Constitution hopes to complete its work on this issue in the autumn but that, owing to the range and complexity of the matters under consideration, it is not possible to be definitive in this regard.
The Government will await the outcome of the committee's deliberations before further considering the issues discussed in the Green Paper.
