77 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she will outline the price of crude oil on international markets; the price of petrol at retail level over the past five years; if she will give details of any changes; if the increases have been entirely due to factors outside our control; if margins for importers and distributors have increased also; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am unable to give the statistics requested by the Deputy as these are not collected by my Department. I am not in a position, therefore, to either comment on the related elements of the Deputy's question or to make a statement on the matter.
