76 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the current position in relation to minor improvements that need to be carried out to a pier (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18811/00]

Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources (Mr. Fahey)

Funding of £37,145 was provided for Donegal County Council by my Department in 1999 for repairs to the pier in question. Additional funding of £80,473 has been allocated in the current year for the completion of those works.
