Question:

250 Mr. O'Malley asked the Minister for Education and Science the current position regarding the proposed extension to Knockea national school, Ballyneety, County Limerick, for which approval was given for architectural planning to commence in August 1999 and which is at present in his Department's planning office in Tullamore; if his attention has been drawn to the urgent need for additional accommodation at this school; and if he will allow the building to go ahead without further delay. Architectural planning for an extension at Knockea national school, Ballyneety, County Limerick, is proceeding as quickly as possible having regard to the large number of school building projects on hand within my Department.
