285 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 4 of 8 June 2000, he has reconsidered the issue of the representation of his Department on the local drugs task force; if he will now arrange for a senior level representative to sit on each task force, as requested; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In my reply of 8 June 2000 to the Deputy I set out in full the position of my Department in relation to the issue of representation by it on local drugs task forces and I confirmed that the education co-ordinators of the partnerships are to represent my Department. I also indicated that this arrangement is reasonable and workable.
