494 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason potassium tablets are not included in the medical card scheme; if his attention has been drawn to the great anxiety it causes to many elderly people who depend on such tablets; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy will be pleased to learn that potassium chloride tablets are available under the common list of reimbursable items for the general medical services and the drug payment schemes.
