646 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will ensure that a person (details supplied) in County Sligo is called for orthodontic treatment in the North Western Health Board area in view of the fact that he has been on the list for a long time; if he will make a favourable decision; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

As the provision of orthodontic treatment for eligible persons in County Sligo is the statutory responsibility of the North Western Health Board, I have asked the chief executive officer of that health board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
