252 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Education and Science when a temporary building will be established at Ballygunner national school, County Waterford, to deal with children with special needs in education, particularly children with attention deficit disorder, in view of the fact that the finance has been allocated for some time; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21221/00]

My Department has approved the provision of temporary accommodation for an autistic unit at Ballygunner national school, County Waterford and construction work is currently under way. It is expected that these works will be completed within the next few weeks.
