293 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Education and Science the current position with regard to the application from a school (details supplied) in Dublin 11 for the total refurbishment and upgrading of the school hall; the stage the application is at; when approval for works will be granted; the estimated cost in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

My Department has requested the Office of Public Works to provide a technical report on the situation at the school in question. As soon as this report is received the case will be progressed further.
