126 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will finalise negotiations to include retrospection for family support workers throughout the health board areas; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21836/00]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin)

The Health Service Employers Agency is currently finalising negotiations with the family support workers grade. I am confident that an element of retrospection will be included in the final settlement.
