124 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a grant payment under the special housing aid for the elderly scheme has not been made by the Western Health Board to a person (details supplied) in County Galway. [21834/00]

The housing aid scheme for the elderly is operated in the County Galway area by the Western Health Board on behalf of the Department of the Environment and Local Government. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to examine this case and respond to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
