Vol. 524 No. 2

Written Answers. - Services for People with Disabilities.

John McGuinness

Question:

268 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason the services of a pool (details supplied) have been withdrawn from a person (details supplied) in County Carlow who requires to use the service at 10.30 a.m. each day prior to attending the hospital in Carlow; and if the original arrangement can be restored. [21966/00]

The provision of health related support services to persons with disabilities is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the chief executive officer of the South Eastern Health Board, with a request that he examine the matter and reply to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
