I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that there is no application pending on Folio No.16979, County Galway.
If the Deputy can let me have the dealing number and any other relevant information, I will have further inquiries made in the matter.

Question:390 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when a Land Registry dealing will be completed for a person (details supplied) in County Galway. [22220/00]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to an application for a duplicate land certificate which was lodged on 18 January 1999.
I am further informed by the Land Registry that they issued instructions to the lodging solicitor on 13 October 2000 and the dealing cannot progress until their request has been satisfactorily carried out. I can assure the Deputy that the matter is receiving attention in the Land Registry.
