Question:

135 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Waterford will be given an out-patient appointment by the South Eastern Health Board in relation to his impaired hearing; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22524/00]

The provision of medical services in this instance is the statutory responsibility of the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.

136 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Waterford will receive the report on his angiogram which was carried out at St. James's Hospital, Dublin 8; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22525/00]

The provision of medical services in this instance is the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the authority to investigate the position in relation to this matter and to reply to the Deputy directly.
