Question:191 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will outline, in regard to second level schools for the current year or the most recent year for which figures are available, (i) the total number of remedial teachers sanctioned, (ii) the total number of career guidance counsellors sanctioned, (iii) the total number of other support teachers sanctioned categorised by type/function and the number in each category and (iv) the total number of approved teaching positions, excluding approvals related to post leaving certificate courses.
