Written Answers. - Public Transport.
In early September I published a Government consultative paper entitled A New Institutional and Regulatory Framework for Public Transport. This contains a number of proposals which have implications for the institutional arrangements for transport in Dublin.
That paper also indicated that the Cabinet Committee on Infrastructural Development and PPPs would consider the institutional arrangements for transport in the greater Dublin area later this year. Present indications are that the Cabinet committee will consider this issue at its December meeting.
