Vol. 524 No. 6

Written Answers. - Rural Transport Integration.

Rory O'Hanlon

Question:

201 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Finance if there are plans to integrate transport in rural areas provided for school transport, health board other than acute ambulance transport, free travel for the elderly and buses and mini buses provided to voluntary organisations; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23498/00]

Responsibility for any plans to integrate transport in rural areas for the categories mentioned would rest primarily with the Ministers for Education and Science, Health and Children, Social, Community and Family Affairs and Public Enterprise.
