Question:416 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Mayo, who waited for admittance to the University College Hospital on 2 October 2000 was sent home at 9 p.m. and told he would not be admitted, only to result in his admittance to Mayo General Hospital as an emergency on 3 October at 7 a.m.; if he will have a full investigation carried out into this matter; the reason this person was turned away from University College Hospital when he was in need of medical treatment; the reason no full and detailed reply has issued on this matter in view of Parliamentary Question No. 121 of 10 October 2000.
