334 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if she has received an application for grant aid under scéim na mbóithre áise from a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if she will make a financial allocation in respect of this application in the current financial year. The application received by my Department under scéim na mbóithre áise for the repair of the road referred to by the Deputy will be taken into account when applications to be funded under the scheme next year are being considered.

A decision on the applications to be funded will be made as soon as possible in the new year.
