379 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science the total capital funding provided by or through his Department or the Higher Education Authority for the universities, the institutes of technology and the regional technical colleges for each year since 1990. [25483/00]
I have requested officials of my Department to forward the information requested by the Deputy directly to her.
380 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science the sums allocated for capital projects to each institute of technology since 1985; the estimated current cost of each of these projects; the date on which each individual capital project was approved and announced for each institute of technology; the progress to date on the completion of each of the projects announced; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The information, in the format requested by the Deputy, is not readily available in my Department and the level of resources required to compile the information sought would not be warranted. However, if the Deputy wishes to obtain details of specific building projects, I will be happy to provide them.
