398 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Education and Science the current position regarding the report of the commission on adult education; the way in which the report will be implemented; when it will be implemented; the criteria for the selection of designated areas; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I presume that the question refers to the White Paper on Adult Education, which was published on 2 August 2000.
The White Paper sets out a programme of change and development, which will be implemented on a phased basis in the light of the resources made available in the context of the national development plan and the annual Estimates for public service provisions.
