Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands (Miss de Valera)

The Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland are acting as my Department's agents in this matter.

My Department has been informed that, in accordance with the terms of the High Court order dated 3 July 2000, the commissioners are progressing matters to meet the requirement of the court that all reinstatement works be com pleted by 30 May 2001. To this end, the commissioners are negotiating with the contractor who originally carried out works at the site and whose contract is in suspension since 1993, with a view to having the works completed by the May 2001 deadline.
Question No. 124 taken with Question No. 101.
