Written Answers. - Badger Traps.
The devices used by my Department to catch badgers are specially designed stopped body restraints. These are in accordance with the Wildlife Act, 1976 (Approved Traps, Snares and Nets) Regulations, 1977, and incorporate swivels and other safety features.
