Question:

322 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of persons who have applied for asylum currently awaiting a decision on their application for a period of between six months to one year, for in excess of one year and up to two years, for in excess of two years and up to three years and for in excess of three years; and the number of persons currently awaiting decision on asylum applications through the appeals system having had their original application turned down.
