Paul Bradford

Question:

75 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the plans he has to meet with the new US Administration; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26827/00]

As a result of the very close election race in the US, the new Administration has not yet been announced. President Clinton remains in office until 20 January 2001.

We look forward to working closely with the new Administration in the unique spirit of friendship and co-operation that has characterised the relationship between Ireland and the United States in the past.
