366 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education and Science if the home tuition allocation for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo could be increased in view of the fact the student is preparing for her junior certificate and further in view of the fact that no progress has been made since the last question was placed. An application to increase the level of home tuition provided for the pupil in question has been received in my Department. My Department's inspectorate is currently considering this application with a view to ensuring that adequate provision is made available to the child in question. As soon as the inspectorate has reported, my Department will be in touch with the child's parents on the matter.
