174 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has considered granting an extension of the school bus system to take in Mahora, Stoney Road, and Cruth, Clogh, Castlecomer, County Kilkenny, in view of the number of families requiring the service from the community to schools in Castlecomer, County Kilkenny. My Department has recently sanctioned a school bus service for pupils from the areas in question.

Bus Éireann has been informed and I understand that the necessary arrangements, to implement the decision, have now been put in place by their local office.
