150 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will provide funding for the establishment of a district hospital at Ballaghaderreen, County Roscommon; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29041/00]

The provision of health facilities in County Roscommon is a matter for the Western Health Board. The board has informed me that it has no plans for the provision of a district hospital or community type hospital at Ballaghaderreen, County Roscommon.
