Vol. 527 No. 5

Written Answers. - Special Educational Needs.

Richard Bruton

Question:

241 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the number of children with special learning needs at a school (details supplied) in Dublin 7; and the reason his Department has not appointed a special assistant to the school. [29150/00]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has recently sanctioned five hours per week resource teaching support and ten hours per week special needs assistant support to the school in question to cater for special needs pupils enrolled in the school.
