Written Answers. - Health Ombudsman.
The Deputy will be aware that the ombudsman's remit already extends to the health boards.
I have no immediate plans to establish a separate office of ombudsman for health matters. The issues around patient advocacy and efficient complaints procedures will be addressed in the context of the development work for the new health strategy.
