295 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will approve the application from a local authority in County Wexford for remedial works to be carried out to a housing estate (details supplied). [29613/00]
Some £620,000 has been paid to date to Wexford Corporation under my Department's remedial works scheme in respect of refurbishment works to the dwellings at this estate. These works were completed in 1996. I understand that proposals for environmental improvement works are being developed by the corporation but have not yet been received in my Department.
