Vol. 528 No. 1

Written Answers. - Registration of Title.

Michael Ring

Question:

363 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when a map with special features of a folio will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo. [29383/00]

I refer the Deputy to my reply dated 15 November to Parliamentary Question No. 240.

The Land Registry indicated that a standard boundary map issued to the applicant on 3 November 2000. Special features were not shown on the map because no special features, such as commonage, turbary rights or rights of way, etc, are actually registered on the folio. Land Registry maps show only features which have actually been registered in the Land Registry.

I have been further informed by the Land Registry that a refund of £30 will be made to the applicant, as a standard boundary map costs £20.
