Vol. 528 No. 1

Written Answers. - Road Traffic Offences.

Question:

365 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform further to Parliamentary Question No. 336 of 5 December 2000, the number of summonses that were served or convictions made for road traffic offences for the five persons concerned prior to their conviction for dangerous driving causing death; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29471/00]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the information required by the Deputy is not readily available and would require a considerable amount of Garda time and resources to compile such information, which could not be justified.
