Vol. 528 No. 1

Written Answers. - School Transport.

Michael Creed

Question:

416 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork has only a concessionary pass on the school bus service; the historical reasons regarding previous school closures that affect this decision; and if he will review the entitlement of a number of children to free school transport in view of the fact that they attend a local school on the basis of concessionary passes. A report has been requested from Bus Éireann on the matter. The Deputy will be advised of the outcome as soon as the report has been received and assessed.
