Question:

135 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to the problem of under staffing in rheumatology in the Southern Health Board region; if he will ensure that this problem is addressed and rectified; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The provision of services in this instance is the statutory responsibility of the Southern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the Southern Health Board to investigate this matter and reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
