Ministerial Rota for Parliamentary Questions: Motion.

I move:

(1) That, notwithstanding Standing Order 54, the resolution of the Dáil of 14 December 2000 relating to the ministerial rota for parliamentary questions is hereby rescinded; and

(2) that, notwithstanding anything in the resolution of the Dáil of 26 June 1997 setting out the rota in which questions to members of the Government are to be asked, questions for oral answer, following those last set down to the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, shall be set down to Ministers in the following temporary sequence:

Minister for Foreign Affairs

Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation

Minister for Education and Science

Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment

Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform

Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources

whereupon the sequence established by the resolution of 26 June 1997 shall continue with questions to the Minister for Public Enterprise.
