Question:

136 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number and proportion of higher executive officers in his Department who progressed to assistant principal in each year from 1988 to 1997; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2850/01]

The information sought by the Deputy, in so far as it is available, in relation to the period is set out in the following table. This return does not include staff serving in the Courts Service or Land Registry.
