Vol. 529 No. 4

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Jack Wall

Question:

152 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Kildare can receive an earlier appointment date at Tallaght Hospital in view of the fact that the person's medical condition has deterio rated, and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2937/01]

The provision of medical treatment to eligible persons in County Kildare is the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the position in relation to this case and reply to the Deputy directly.
