142 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the deteriorating accommodation in Loreto secondary school, Balbriggan, County Dublin; and if he will approve the necessary finances for the carrying out of these works as a matter of urgency. [3510/01]
An application has been received in my Department for remedial works and the provision of an extension at Loreto secondary school, Balbriggan.
The planning section of my Department has recently projected a long-term enrolment of 1000 students for this school. The management authority of the school has been requested to complete an educational worksheet based on this projection. Once the completed form is returned to my Department it will be possible to draw up a schedule of accommodation and to assess the infrastructural needs of the school.
