Vol. 530 No. 3

Written Answers. - Psychiatric Service.

Joe Higgins

Question:

156 Mr. Higgins (Dublin West) asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will make a statement on the provision of a day hospital for psychiatric patients in the Blanchardstown area which was recommended as a matter of urgency by the Inspector of Mental Hospitals in his report for the year ending 31 December 1999. [3585/01]

This is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority and I have, therefore, referred this matter to the chief executive officer of the Eastern Regional Health Authority and have requested him to reply directly to the Deputy.
