Vol. 530 No. 3

Written Answers. - Health Care Funding.

John McGuinness

Question:

158 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if his Department will fund the health care required by a person (details supplied) who is a patient at St. Canice's Hospital, Kilkenny; if the hospital has completed its examination of the person; and if so, if the person can be referred for treatment to the appropriate centre at a cost to the Department or the South Eastern Health Board. [3587/01]

This is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board and I have, therefore, referred this matter to the chief executive officer of the South Eastern Health Board and have requested him to reply directly to the Deputy.
