Question:202 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he has satisfied himself and will give his approval to Kildare County Council plans for the provision of a new library at Confey, Leixlip, County Kildare; his views on whether the proposals as put forward by the local authority represent a better option and are more likely to enhance the visual amenities and quality of life in the area rather than a low priced version with consequent opposite effects; if he will indicate his preferred choice in respect of these two options; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
