213 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the group or body which meets the cost of an archaeological survey where one is deemed necessary by a local authority in considering a planning application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3967/01]

The cost of any archaeological work associated with a development project is a matter for the developer concerned.
