265 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science if a decision has been reached on the application from a group of primary schools (details supplied) in Dublin 9 for funding to refurbish the school hall; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3527/01]

An initial technical assessment of the hall at the schools in question has been carried out. My Department is currently considering the most efficient and cost effective way of dealing with this project and the school authorities will be kept informed of developments.
