282 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Education and Science when he will purchase a site for a school (details supplied) in County Monaghan; when the school will be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3711/01]
My Department has requested the property management section of the Office of Public Works, which is acting on behalf of my Department in relation to site acquisitions generally, to acquire a site for the school referred to by the Deputy.
As soon as the acquisition has been finalised, my Department will be in contact with the school authorities. It is too early to say at this point when construction will commence.
